At the LafargeHolcim plant in Cauldon, UK, teams had to remove heavy material buildup inside a preheater tower during planned shutdowns, as manual methods were slow and exposed workers to harsh conditions.

A Brokk Descaler enabled operators to tackle buildup from a distance while reaching multiple sections of the tower and keeping the shutdown schedule on track.
